Bread Dahi Wada \ Instant Dahi Vada \Bread Dahi Bada 

Let us now move to  innovative and unconventional healthy recipe.Courtesy of my friend Rujuta Deshpande . This is a no flame  and less cholesterol recipe. We do not need to do deep fry for Dahi Vada. Just a very simple dish contains mouthwatering  mixture of flavors.

We will be preparing this  dish in below simple steps

  1. Prepare Filling.
  2. Prepare Vada/Wada/Bada.
  3. Garnish And Serve.

  1. 10 slice of bread (wheat bread preferred).
  2. Coconut (grated) 3 cups.
  3. Jira(Cumin Seeds) 3 tbsp.
  4. Roasted Cumin seeds 1 tbsp.
  5. Green chili 2.
  6. Coriander ¼ cup.
  7. Curry leaves 5/6.
  8. Salt 4 tbsp.
  9. Sugar 3 tbsp.
  10. One Lemon.
  11. Ginger (grated) 3 tbsp.
  12. Red chili powder 1 tbsp.
  13. Tamarind Dip.
  14. One cup milk.

Step 1 Prepare Filling

a) Prepare White Chutney(Filler)

1. Take a jar, add 1/3 of grated coconut.

2. Add One tbsp of Ginger.

3. Add One tbsp of salt.

4. Add One tbsp of Jira(cumin seeds).

5. Add One tbsp of sugar.

6. Add One tbsp of lemon juice.

7. Add water and grind the mixture.

 

b) Prepare Green Chutney(Filler)

1. Take a jar, add 1/3 of grated coconut.

2. Add One tbsp of Ginger.

3. Add One tbsp of salt.

4. Add One tbsp of Jira(cumin seeds).

5. Add One tbsp of sugar.

6. Add One tbsp of lemon juice.

7. Add Coriander and Curry leafs.

8. Add Green Chili.

9. Add water and grind the mixture.

c) Prepare Orange Chutney(Filler)

1. Take a jar, add 1/3 of grated coconut.

2. Add One tbsp of Ginger.

3. Add One tbsp of salt.

4. Add One tbsp of Jira(cumin seeds).

5. Add One tbsp of sugar.

6. Add One tbsp of lemon juice.

7. Add One tbsp Red Chili Powder.

8. Add water and grind the mixture.

 

Step 2 Prepare Vada/Bada/Wada

1. Make 9 balls  of chutney 3 ball of each chutney , make it little small ,so that we can easily wrapper in bread.

2. Take two bread slice and cut the thick edge of bread.

3. Soak the bread in Milk.

3. Squeeze out excess milk from bread.

4. Pile up the chutney balls one above other  on the soaked bread slice.

5. Cover this with other slice of bread and try to form round shape.

Step 3 Garnish and Serve

Ingredients

1. Tamarind Dip One tbsp.

2. Curd 10 tbsp.

3. One tbsp of Red Chili Powder.

4. Salt for taste.

Preparation Method

1. Take a bowl and put Bread Wada\Vada\Bada.

2. Add Curd to the bowl.

3. Add One tbsp of Tamarind Dip.

4. Add One tbsp of Red Chili Powder.

5. Salt to taste.

Ready to Serve

Some Tips

1. Use fresh bread for the Vada\Wada\Bada , so that it will not crumble.

2. Squeeze out excess milk gently , do not break the slice.

3. Serve it fresh otherwise bread Vada\Bada\Wada will deform.

4.  Use fresh grated coconut.

5 Do not preserve it.
