Healthy Treat

Let move towards some innovative dish. The dish we are preparing today is both healthy and tasty , specially good for the people who are suffering from  diabetes.The name of the dish is “Healthy Treat”.

Healthy Treat” is a complete dish  having high nutritious value .

We will be preparing Healthy Treat in simple four steps.

  1. Saute vegetables.
  2. Mix Moong and brown rice with water.
  3. Cook.
  4. Garnish and Serve.

Ingredients

  1. 1 Chopped Onion.
  2. 1 inch Chopped Ginger.
  3. 1 tsp olive oil/any oil.
  4. 1 tsp Red Chili Powder.
  5. 1 tsp Turmeric Powder.
  6. 1 tsp Coriander Powder.
  7. 1/2 Yellow Bell Pepper(Capsicum).
  8. 1/2 Red Bell Pepper(Capsicum).
  9. 1/2 Green Bell Pepper(Capsicum).
  10. 1 cup Green sprouts.(Moong)
  11. 1 cup Steamed Brown Rice
  12. 2-3  Chopped Green Chili.
  13. 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves.
  14. Rock salt to taste.
  15. 1/2 Cup water.
  16. 1 tsp Lemon Juice.

Preparation Method

Step 1 Saute vegetables

  1. Take a Wok(Khadai).
  2. Add Oil.
  3. Add Onion.
  4. Add Ginger
  5. And d saute it.
  6. Add Red chili powder.
  7. Add Turmeric powder.
  8. Add Coriander powder.
  9. And saute it gain.
  10. Add Red ,Yellow and Green Bell Pepper (capsicum) and toss it.

Step 2 Mix Sprouts (Moong) and Brown rice

  1. Add Steamed brown rice.
  2. Add  Sprouts (green Moong) and toss.
  3. Add some chilies.
  4. Add Coriander
  5. and Add  salt to taste.

Step 3 Cooking 

  1. Add 1/2 cup water.
  2. Cover the Wok with lid.
  3. Cook it for 5 minutes.

Step 4 Garnish and Serve.

  1. Garnish with lemon juice.
  2. Add coriander leaves.

Some Tips 

  1. Always prepare ingredients fleshly , it will add more flavours .
  2. Add Corn make it more healthy.
  3. Always add lime juice when you are serving the dish.
  4. Do not cook the dish  for more then 5 minutes .
